The study of theatre at Trinity hones artistic discipline in acting, directing, and design for theatre while enhancing students' historical and analytical skills through an appreciation of theatre history and dramatic literature. We challenge our students to realize their self-potential, assume sound responsibilities, and make reasonable choices.
Through participation in productions at variety of campus venues, theatre majors and minors acquire lifelong communication and organizational skills and learn to interact with others of diverse backgrounds and experiences during the creative process. Students have the opportunity to participate in main stage productions beginning their first year, to learn from esteemed guest artists who visit campus every year and even to produce their own dramatic work.
Students in Trinity's theatre program acquire the intellectual background and artistic experience necessary to pursue a variety of careers in the theatre, academia or a wide variety of other fields.
